The IELTS test has been designed to be a fair test. Your English language ability will be assessed objectively, regardless of any disability that you may have. We make every effort to cater for the special needs of disabled candidates.
You will need to provide an original medical statement or certificate from a specialist, no older than 2 years, when you book your test. Whatever special provisions you need, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org to discuss your special needs as soon as possible. If special materials are needed you must register no later than 3 months before the test date. It may not be possible to offer special arrangements at every test date.
As long as places are availabie for registration, they will be visible on the Online Registration System. However, we recommend to register in good time as the test is in high demand during certain times of the year. We do not recommend waiting to take an English test until you are admitted to a university. These admissions often come in June or July and by then you may not be able to take a test and get the desired result before study start in September.
Results are ready 13 days after the test day. Results will not be accessible or published earlier.
If you are not an EU or EFTA (Switzerland, Norway, Iceland, Liechtenstein) citizen, and you are applying for a visa to move or to remain in the UK, please read this important information about the IELTS test for UK Visa and Immigration purposes.
