Take your IELTS test in Bergen
We have two IELTS test locations in Bergen – Akademiet which is located in the centre of the city, and Eidsvåg Fabrikker, which is about 5 km north of the centre.

IELTS test location - Akademiet, Bergen
Akademiet is located at Jonas Reins gt. 4, 5008 Bergen.
Tests are usually conducted in the 3rd floor, and there will be IELTS signs to direct you to the waiting area. Please note that we hire this venue for testing, so any enquiries about IELTS should be made directly to us to us at ielts@edutesting.no and not to the test venue.
There is a supermarket directly across the road where you can buy food and drinks if you have a break between different parts of your test.
How to get to Akademiet for your IELTS test
The test venue is a 5-minute walk from Bergen Busstasjon, and about 2 minutes from the “Nygård” Bybanen stop. There is limited on street parking near the test centre, so we recommend that you park at Bygarasjen if you are driving to the test.
IELTS test location - Eidsvåg Fabrikker, Bergen
Eidsvåg Fabrikker is at Eidsvågbakken 1, 5105 Eidsvåg, just off the E39 between Bergen and Åsane.
Tests and registration are conducted on the ground floor in the restaurant area.
There is a supermarket about 5 minutes’ walk away where you can buy food and drinks if you have a break between different parts of your test.
How to get to IELTS location Eidsvåg Fabrikker
All of the buses which run North out of the city on the E39 will stop at “Eidsvåg,” and from there, you can use the underpass to cross the motorway and walk down to the test centre. This takes about 5 minutes. If you are driving to the test, there is free parking at Eidsvåg Fabrikker.
